Public Enemies
It was long. Very, very long. My butt actually fell asleep. They have never done that before.
And I was just plain upset with the whole thing. There was a pain in me in the end. Like as if I had just experienced something really depressing but I could not pinpoint what it was.
I cannot even say good try. Maybe next time is all I can offer.

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince
What do I think? After two watchings, not so very pleasant actually.
Hermione is very pretty. She is so pretty. Sorry, where was I? The prettiest lady in the whole show…
I love Snape. Have so, since the first movie. No other character has had such an impact on me for the Harry Potter movies like Severus Snape. And the original Dumbledore. And the Weasley twins.
I want a wand, so that I can join them in lighting the skies when Dumbledore died. That was simply the most touching scene in the movie.
The other characters were pretty boring. I did not read the book beforehand for this one, so I do not know what I have missed. But I can figure that it is plenty.
It is pretty lame though that the title mentions the Half Blood Prince but the idea of the Half Blood Prince does not get explored at all besides the naming of who it is referring to.
It is a long movie and I felt drained after it but there were things to sufficiently keep me awake throughout; be it magic, humor, Hermione, Snape or Luna.
Yes, dear airy Luna. She is so interesting and unique. A character with character who has some of the nicest lines. While everyone else was being a bore, Luna spiced things up whenever she was in the scene. I wished there was more of her.
The magic is not as magical and the acting is well, just acting, but this moves the story to the final two movies for me. If you are a HP purist, don’t even bother with the movie. I bet your imagination did a wonderful job already while you read the book.

Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past
The ending was quite BLAH. There has been more than one movie that I wished that the ending was not happy. And this is DEFINITELY one of them. Connor Mead is let off too easily…. I was quite disappointed. I actually was looking forward to the movie. But really, who am i kidding… I knew deep in my heart the movie was going to suck, yet I had to still go and watch it to confirm for myself instead of just listening to other people say that it was not that awesome..
Granted, there were certain funny moments, but there were also plenty of awkward moments. Conner Mead groping his brother’s mother-in-law is just weird. And I think Matthew McConaughey is getting really old. He is not as good looking as before. Michael Douglas IS really old and even his appearance felt really pointless. I loved Jennifer Garner but the role did not do her justice at all. She is so pretty.
The story is nothing new of course. Remix of the tale of scrooge and the three ghosts of christmas past, present and future. Instead there are NO ghosts. Except for Uncle Wayne. So, the title was so wrong in the first place. It is a typical Matthew McConaughey movie. Except he is fully clothed. Through the whole movie. Weird. The movie is just about him and all about him and it is just his vehicle.
I laughed at some jokes and just yawned through most of the rest. I really wished Jenny had married Brad instead of the jerk Conner. Conner should have ended up with his secretary, Melanie.
